Malaria Contral Is Different than Climate Change

If Bush has done more than the current pres, that is because the current pres has only been in office for a few months.  Bush had 8 years, and his dad had  similar years. What did they do? specifically?

Okay, let the Inuit people speak about climate change.  The Canadian Inuit people have the worst health of all Canadians: twice the cancer mortality, diabetes, et cetera.  They used to make a living from the land, now are dependent on government aid, partly because the seal population is declining, and it is getting more difficult to hunt and live off the land due to the reduction of summer sea ice.

Numerous toxic transboundary air pollutants like DDT, Toxaphene, PCP's, which are still being used by African, and some dirt poor Asian nations, get transmitted in the warm tropic winds to the north, where they are condensed in the snow and ice, and bio accumulate in fish and marine mammals.

The issue of malaria is not an issue that can be solved easily.  Putting nets up in homes at night will not prevent deaths of humans from malaria.  It will only reduce the mortality of infants.  The problem with African nations is that they do not have the means to educate young people properly in terms of 'family planning', self sufficiency re professions and trades, et cetera.

For instance, Costa Rica is a tropical country which has all but eliminated the dangerous malaria plaque. It is a nation which has an literacy rate that is higher than the US.  It has free public health services; some of the best plastic surgeons, and dentist in the world, and it has had the best rating of contentment and ecological sustainability in the entire world.

One thing that climate change advocates did  a long time ago, in terms of preserving wildlife and habitat, was to promote the planting of large areas of denuded Costa Rica with Teak species and also many indigenous species. These trees are very valuable for the export and manufacturing sectors around the world. Also they soak up carbon from the troposphere, offsetting increased carbon emissions from fossil fuel combustion.

There are simple inexpensive solutions to malaria control which work in the Latin American countries of South America, but these solutions require simple planning and most importantly "CO-ORDINATION"  and that is not like to happen in strife torn countries in Africa like ....well you draft up the list of them, por favor,
